After 19 strong and successful years in Mary Kay I wanted to share some of Gloria’s rules to Mary Kay happiness.
玫琳凯度过了坚强和成功的19年后,我想把我自己总结出来的获得玫琳凯成功快乐的格洛里亚法则分享给你们。

Become a strong goal setter.  Always understand the goals must be pushed by passion.  If they do not keep you up at night and wake you in the morning something very important is missing.
1/ 让自己成为力量强大的目标设置者。永远明白目标是要由激情推进的。如果你所设定的目标无法激励你自己在晚上精神熠熠,早起神清气爽,那么一些非常重要的部分就已经遗漏了。

Never miss a Mary Kay company event.  You all made the smart decision to come to leadership.  There is always so much to learn and gain at these events.  Everyone needs to be re-focused and re-energized.  Never ever miss a company event.
2/ 千万不要错过任何一场玫琳凯公司的大型活动。你们都作出了明智的选择,来这里参加领袖会议。每一次的大型活动都有许多可以学到,可以获得的知识。每个人都需要重新定位,重新受到激励。所以,千万不要错过任何一场公司的活动。

Your POSITIVE ATTITUDE is the most important things you can have.  You are in control of your attitude.  Who you are around, what you read, what you listen to and the words you choose to say.  Never talk about other people and never talk negatively about yourself.
3/ 主动积极的态度是你要具备的最重要的素质。你会受到自己态度的控制,你周围的人,你所看到的、听到的,会影响你选择所说要的话,记住!永远都不要私下议论她/他人,更不要消极的表达你自己。

Create your circle of influence.  Take advice only from people you are willing to trade places with.  Team up with people who are willing to work as hard as you are.  Stay in the space of people who have a vision for what is possible with Mary Kay.  Run from people who do not have a dream, who want to steal yours because they do not want you to have a dream either?
4/ 扩大你个人的影响圈。只听取那些你愿意与她们共事的人提出的建议。只开发那些愿意与你同样努力工作的人。与那些同样热爱玫琳凯,对美好的明天充满憧憬的人呆在一起。远离那些没有梦想,甚至也不希望你胸怀梦想的人。

Learn the skills of this business.   The fundamental skills are critical.  This is where Mary Kay Ash really worked hard with women.  Some women run so fast without taking the time to train themselves that they because frustrated.  You must have the skills so when the initial excitement is over your professional skill takes over.
5/ 学习玫琳凯事业的经营技巧。最基础的技巧也是最重要的,而这也正是玫琳凯.艾施女士反复跟大家强调的。有一些人步伐很快,却忽视了对自身基础的打造,最终以失败收场。所以你们一定要磨练好基本功,只有这样,当最初的兴奋感过去的时候,你才能真正的用专业知识技能继续发展下去。

Emotional management. You will have disappointments – Big disappointments.  Life challenges – raise your hand if you have ever had a life challenges.  See you are not alone.  People will disappoint you, you will disappoint yourself.  The character within will determine how you face life disappointments.  Every one has things happen to them – the way you deal with them makes you a champion.
6/ 情绪管理。你一定会有失望,甚至是巨大的失望。生命中常有挑战,如果你们曾经历过生命的挑战,请把手举起来。看到了吗,你们不是孤单的。周围的人会让你失望,你自己也会对自己感到失望。你的内在品格将决定你如何面对这些生命中的不如意。每个人都会遭遇很多的事情,正是你面对、处理这些事情的经历使你自己成为了成功者。

Time management – As leaders you must get help in your life.  Assistance in your home, then assistance in your office.  Too many women try to have it all and then they become off balance. Your most important Mary Kay time is being in front of people.  Your most important personal time is being with your family.  Use your time wisely.
7/ 时间管理:作为领袖,你的生命中一定要获得众多的帮助,家庭中的帮助,工作中的帮助。有太多的女性喜欢把所有的事情都抓在自己的手里,这样很容易失衡。把你在玫琳凯事业中最重要的时间分配给与大家相处,把你个人最重要的时间分配给与家人相处。一定要精明地利用时间。

Make a To Do list Daily.  Stay focused and on track with what you are suppose to do, not just what you feel like doing.  Good days, turn into good weeks that turn into good months that make good years. Every good day is important.
8/ 制定每天的备忘录:按照计划有侧重点的安排工作,决不能想做什么就做什么。出色的每一天构成了出色的每一周;出色的每一周构成了出色的每一月;出色的每一月构成了出色的每一年。所以出色的每一天都是很重要的。

Build your team the Mary Kay way.  Book, Coach, Sell then Recruit.  After you have set your goal take yourself out of the picture.  Listen to the heart of the women in front of you.  What is her need? What difference can you make in her life?  Get excited to sell the product.  Touch her life on the outside with our products and with your kindness.  Let her introduce you to her circle of influence.  You impact her world AGAIN.  Then you watch her.  The question is not always does she need Mary Kay – sometimes the question is does Mary Kay need her?  Tell her the facts and give her the space to make a great decision.
9/ 按照玫琳凯的方式建设团队:预约,美容课,销售,开发。在你设定好目标以后,抽身而出,看看眼前的这些女性,听听她们的心声。她到底需要什么?你能为她的人生带来什么样的改变?销售产品的时候要兴奋。用我们的产品和你的关爱感染她的生活。让她把你引入她的影响圈,这样你就可以再次影响她的生活世界。再接下来,你就要观察她。问题并不永远是她是否需要玫琳凯,有些时候,问题是玫琳凯是否需要她?告诉她实际的情况,给她一些时间作出重大的决定。

Focus on the activity not results.  Of course the results are important but more important are the activity that leads to the wanted results.  Work the numbers – they never disappoint you.  Place routine in your business where ever you can.  Routine gives consistency and that builds the foundation for success.  Understand what you must do daily, weekly and monthly.
10/ 关注行动本身,不仅仅是结果:结果固然重要,可是能引导出理想结果的行为是更加重要的。把数字作为衡量工作的标准,是永远不会让你失望的。在你的玫琳凯事业中尽量设定规矩,规矩可以确保事业发展的持续性,可以建立成功的基础。一定要了解你们每一天,每一周,每个月要做什么。

Image – Inside and out.  Are you looking, acting, being the Mary Kay in your business and in your community.  I have always believed the lessons you learn in Mary Kay are life lessons.  I have changed a lot from learning and personally growing around the Mary Kay women.  I have more patience, I have learned to love deeper.  Because people are watching the leaders you must be committed to excellence. That commitment inspires others.  Your high standards of excellence move your team in the direction of excellence and it starts with image which includes how you treat others.
11/ 从内到外的想象力:在你的沙龙里,在你所生活的社区中,你看起来,你的行动是不是像玫琳凯。我始终相信,你在玫琳凯接受的培训是真正的有关生命和生活培训。我在玫琳凯的这些年改变了很多,学到了很多东西,个人也有很大的成长。我比以前更加有耐心,也学会了更加深远的爱。所有人的眼睛都注视着领袖,所以你必须要努力地追求卓越。正是你的坚持鼓舞着其他人。你追求卓越的高标准将指引你的团队向着卓越的方向前进,而这一切都是由最初的想象开始的,其中包括你是如何对待她/他人的。

Work with enthusiasm.  There is quiet enthusiasm and loud enthusiasm.  Both are correct – just make sure you have it and show it.  Enthusiasm is the most contagious thing about a people.
12/ 充满热诚地工作:这其中包括平静的热诚和激昂的热诚。两者都对,只是要确认你的确饱有热诚并展示给大家。热诚是人类身上最有传染力的特质。

Love to build others.  Build their skills, build their vision, build their belief, build their understanding of what Mary Kay stands for and build their responsibility to excellence.  Leadership is a very important position.  Do not take it lightly. The director oath is serious and people and their family are depending on you to be your best.
13/ 乐于助人:帮助她人锻炼技巧、树立愿景、坚定信念、加强对玫琳凯的理解,承担追求卓越的责任。领袖是一个十分重要的位置,不要轻易的接受这个职位。督导誓词是无比严肃神圣的,许多人和她们的家庭都在期待着你,希望得到你最好的帮助。

Appreciate and give a lot of thanks.  Gratitude is critical.  Are you honestly grateful for what you have? Are you honestly grateful for where you are?  Are you honestly grateful that you can work hard because there are many people who do not even have the privilege of working due to illness or other challenges in life?
14/ 充满欣赏和感恩:感恩的心态是非常重要的。对于你所拥有的一切,你是不是从心底里感激呢?对于你现在所在的地方,你是不是从心底里感激呢?想想有很多人却因为疾病或者其它生命中的不如意而丧失了工作的权利,而自己还可以努力工作,你是不是从心底里感激呢?

When I signed my agreement I did now know that it would lead to a lifestyle of dream fulfillment EVERY DAY!  Time with my family, financial support to my aging parents, debt free education with my children, traveling the world with the man of my dreams and all the while looking fabulous from the inside out with greater confidence and an understanding of my purpose.
当我最初签署美容顾问协议的时候,我从没想到这个小小的动作竟然会带给我这样一种梦想全部实现的生活方式。有时间陪伴家人,有能力为年迈的双亲提供经济上的支持,能够没有负债的支持孩子们的学业,能和我梦想中的男人一同环游世界,无论什么时候我看起来都是那么出色,从内到外散发着自信,同时还有对目标的无比坚定。

Directors, build the business strong, enjoy the journey, make a difference and leave your name up in lights.  I love and appreciate you.
